Prince George’s County police arrested three people and charged them with first-degree murder in connection with a fatal shooting in Landover. The arrests resolve a homicide investigation that began after officers responded to gunfire on a Sunday afternoon.

De’Andre Reid, 23, of Riverdale, is the only male suspect. He faces first-degree murder charges alongside his sisters, Wonnae Bridgeforth, 26, of Landover, and Wonnese Bridgeforth, 24, of Upper Marlboro. The three defendants are currently held without bond by the Department of Corrections.

The victim, Diontay Jackson, was 20 years old and lived in Landover. Officers arrived at the 3200 block of 75th Avenue at approximately 1:10 p.m. on Sunday. They discovered Jackson with multiple gunshot wounds. He transported to a hospital, where he died shortly after arrival.

Police determined that the shooting arose from a dispute between the victim and the three suspects. All four individuals knew one another. Detectives learned at the hospital that Reid had arrived there with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. A preliminary investigation confirmed the personal nature of the conflict leading to the fatal exchange.

The department has assigned case number 26-0058356 to the investigation. Homicide investigators ask members of the public with information to call 301-516-2512 and reference that case number. No other details regarding the timeline of the dispute have been released.
