The Class 6A regular season concluded Friday night with Roseville securing the Metro Maroon subdistrict title. The Raiders defeated Coon Rapids 24-14 to finish with a 4-4 record. This marks the program's best season since 2017.

Roseville had not won the subdistrict crown in four years. The team improved its standing through consistent performances throughout the fall. Senior quarterback Chase Browning directed the final drive. He completed passes for 162 yards and three touchdowns in the win.

Browning expressed relief after the final whistle. "It's an amazing feeling," he said. "I don't even have words for it. We've all worked so hard. It's great to see it finally paying off."

Mounds View claimed the Metro East subdistrict title by beating White Bear Lake 22-16. The Mustangs trailed by two points entering the final minute. Tanner Jude scored on a one-yard run with 65 seconds remaining. A two-point conversion extended the lead to six.

Preston Johnson intercepted a pass on White Bear Lake's next possession to secure the victory. The Mounds View defense limited Wyatt Stachowiak to six completions on 24 attempts.

In other results, Forest Lake running back Mack Jurkovich finished the season with 1,600 rushing yards. He rushed for 245 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-13 win over Stillwater. That result locks up a No. 2 seed in the Class 6A playoffs. Jurkovich has committed to St. Thomas.

Lakeville South kicker Dylan Nelson connected on a 36-yard field goal with one second left. The kick gave the Cougars a 17-14 upset of Rosemount. Centennial beat Anoka 38-6 to likely secure a No. 3 seed.
