Fairfax County police charged four men from Maryland with a coordinated series of burglaries targeting homes that were unoccupied because of fire damage. Authorities announced the charges on Monday, concluding an investigation that began after residents reported break-ins at four separate residences across the county.
The first incident occurred in November 2025 on Shellbark Place in Reston. A family reported that a gun safe was stolen from the interior of their home and a Porsche Macan was taken from the driveway. The house had suffered fire damage earlier that month. Three additional burglaries were reported in May and July 2026. These occurred on San Carlos Drive and Bulova Lane in Fair Oaks, and on Blue Steel Way in West Springfield.
Detectives connected the five incidents by analyzing video footage and digital records. They also traced stolen property to the suspects. Recovered items included firearms taken during the Shellbark Place burglary. Investigators said the men also stole cash, a guitar, headphones, jewelry, perfume, and purses during the later break-ins.
Damon Murray, 22, faces two counts of burglary, grand larceny, and conspiracy to commit grand larceny. He is currently held in North Carolina awaiting extradition. Christian Webb, 24, faces five counts of burglary, two counts of destruction of property, grand larceny, and auto theft. Webb is awaiting extradition from Pennsylvania.
Timothy Lowe, 23, was charged with four counts of burglary, two counts of destruction of property, grand larceny, and auto theft. Lowe is currently free on bond. Emanuel Thomas, 35, faces four counts of burglary, two counts of destruction of property, grand larceny, and auto theft. Thomas remains in custody in Maryland.
