Betting markets have set the total points line at 43.5 for the Monday Night Football game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles. The contest will begin at 8:15 p.m. ET on Monday, October 26, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

Both franchises enter the matchup with 2-4 records and are looking to stop losing streaks. Dallas is 1-2 on the road after falling 23-13 to the Green Bay Packers in the previous week. Philadelphia is 1-2 at home after losing 25-14 to the Carolina Panthers in Week 6. The Eagles have lost four straight games, while the Cowboys are in their second consecutive defeat.

Injury reports indicate the Eagles will play without starting quarterback Jalen Hurts due to blood clots and wide receiver DeVonta Smith due to a hamstring injury. Running back Saquon Barkley is listed as questionable with a hamstring issue but is expected to suit up. Backup quarterback Tanner McKee started the loss to Carolina. He completed 26 of 45 passes for 215 yards and one touchdown.

The Cowboys will rely on quarterback Dak Prescott, who completed 34 of 54 passes for 258 yards and one touchdown against Green Bay. He threw two interceptions in that game, with a third being nullified by a penalty. Dallas has been limited to 16 and 13 points in its last two outings.

Historical data shows the Under has hit in four of the last five meetings between these two teams. The Under also covered in each of Dallas's last two games and three of Philadelphia's last four. The Eagles currently average 17.7 points per game, a figure that ties them for 28th in the league.

SportsLine’s predictive model, which is 58-48 on top-rated picks since 2024, projected 43 combined points. The model suggests the Under is the value play based on its 10,000 simulation runs. Dallas leads the all-time series against Philadelphia 75-59, though the Eagles have won three of the last four matchups.

The Cowboys are favored by 4.5 points in the current betting odds. The line reflects the expectation that both offenses will struggle to move the ball against each other's defenses in this NFC East contest.
